Great conversion.Īwesome work! Can’t imagine how much was involved in doing this.Īlso credit to all the cracking groups who did the very difficult job of linking an intro and adding a doc file to the release. Wow, performance is pretty amazing on stock 64. How the hell did you make it run so fast? Does it share some code with Night Shade BTW? Wow, this is incredible! As I'm both a C64 and MSX user, this truly warms my heart :-) Ultimate games have a very special feel to them, which I still love. Night Shade less so but Gunfright does share a lot of code with Night Shade so a faster version of Night Shade based on our Gunfright conversion is possible but I doubt we’ll ever look at that one. Knight Lore & Pentagram share a lot of code. But the integrity and flow of the original Z80 code is maintained. The optimisations are mainly rolled out and self modified code. This is just awesome, i have been waiting for this game since the demo from 2011.Īll the big hitting routines are optimised. I hope the Plus/4 version once will have the same (or even better palette :-) ) version of this title screen. Just check out and compare to Spectrum or other versions. Next to the game also I have to tell (as an amateur graphician), STE made a fantastic job again! That title screen itself could go for a compo. New version now available: Knight Lore V1.10įantastic release! Really nice to see such a gem appeared on Commodores too. ( /MUSICIANS/C/Cross_Saul/Knight_Lore.sid)
